Jaime - La Posa? I'd have to take your word for it, but I"m not sure. Google Earth says it's Jarealito, but maybe that's the town along-side it.
Here's a Google Maps link showing exactly where the beach is at. If you find this same place in Google Earth, you'll see the Jarealito marker just to the west of this spot. Maybe someone from there can definitively answer.
I've been to this exact beach! It's as gorgeous as it is in this picture! The rocks in the bottom left corner are huge, and the water rushing upon it is beautiful! This is a wonderful picture of God's beautiful creation!
ps- i believe this was taken from the top of the arecibo lighthouse...

La Posa del obispo, is the name of beach there the barrio of jarealito islote. WOW bring back memories, my cousin lezcano push me into the dip waters and save me from drowning after he realize that I did not know how to swim in 1979 .love you Arecibo and thank you god for another day of life.
Man, What i'd do to be back on that beach with my fam at this very sec. I loved it, the warm water and the waves going over the rocks.... Little colorful fishes playing tag with my abuelita.... lolz That was funny!

This is the beach at my home town Arecibo. It only took me like 7 minutes to get there. La posa is the one where the little bohios are and caza y pesca y the one to the far end of the beach. I just got back from there and it was nice.
